Goodbye Armenia, Hello Ephesians

God truly works in mysterious ways. I will admit that I was very confused yesterday morning when I was informed that chances were not good that I would be on the team going to Armenia. There were many people that had requested to go, and only a few spots. I would be notified if a spot opened up. I was maybe even a bit bitter. This was to be my trip. The chance to use my language and bond with others from the church.

But then it all became clear during children's choir rehearsal. The weekend they will be leaving is the same weekend we will put on on our annual musical, "Kingdom Quest".

So God has made it clear what my priorities are to be for now, and I will be the best co-leader I can be, helping the children learn the musical about the armor of God. What better calling can there be?

Celebrating Epiphany

The singles group at my church (very loosely named as we have several married couples amongst us!) celebrates Christmas in a very unique way. Several years ago they decided to move their annual Christmas get together to the end of the season and celebrate the Epiphany, also known as Three Kings Day. Here are some photos of this year's party. We had a great time, enjoyed wonderful food, great fellowship, and some inspiring words. Thanks to everyone who played even a small part in putting this together!
